UPDATE 6/21/2010
On Saturday, June 19, 2010, a group of nine volunteers went to work in the sweltering heat to build a long-awaited ramp for a hospice patient in the Indian Springs area. Five of the volunteers were regular Hearts In Hands helpers. Thank you so much, guys, for your faithful assistance! In addition, we had four new volunteers from the Indian Springs Baptist Church, where the client we were assisting attends.
Working all together, they were able to build this 28-foot ramp in one day. Upon completion, the pastor from the church dedicated the new ramp with a prayer.
